A lethal three point-shooter, Curry shot 48% from behind the line in high school. Curry’s scoring ability carried over at Davidson his freshman year, setting the single-season scoring record by a freshman with 730 points. He also broke Davidson’s single-season scoring record for three-pointers. His scoring improved during his sophomore year, averaging 25.9 ppg. Curry exploded on the national scene during the NCAA National Tournament with multiple forty point games, leading his team to the Elite 8 in wins against Gonzaga, Georgetown, and Wisconsin.
