Player Biography: Ty Lawson, a point guard product of Oak Hill Academy, led the team to a 42-1 record during his senior season, averaging 23.8 points, 9.1 assists, and 5.0 steals. In his freshman season at North Carolina, Lawson stepped in immediately, averaging over ten points and nearly six assists in route to an ACC All-Rookie Team nomination. Despite playing with an injured ankle during his sophomores season, Lawson increased his production. Lawson was a First Team All-ACC selection in 2009.
