Player Biography: Ricky Rubio has been playing professional basketball since 2005. The 18 year old is currently playing for DKV Joventut, located in Badalona, Spain. Rubio started drawing attention after leading Spain to the FIBA Europe-Under 16 Championship, where he registered 3 thriple-doubles. Rubio earned a spot on the 2008 Spanish Olympic team and at age 17, he was the youngest player to ever play in an Olympic basketball final. The Spaniard has been compared greatly to Pistol Pete Maravich, due to his style and playmaking ability. His agent, Dan Fegan, has announced that Rubio will declare for the 2009 NBA Draft.
