Player Biography: Wayne Ellington played high school basketball at Episcopal Academy in Merion, Pennsylvania.  Ellington, a top ten recruit (#8 Rivals; #7 Scout), helped lead Episcopal Academy to a 27-4 record, along with teammate and current Duke guard, Gerald Henderson. The McDonald's All-American averaged 21.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game as a senior.  Ellington chose to play for North Carolina over other schools, including UConn, Villanova, and Wake Forest.  As a freshman for the Tar Heels, Ellington averaged 11.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 23.9 minutes.  Ellington had an excellent sophomore campaign, averaging 16.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists per game.  He was also a Second Team All-ACC selection.
