Jermaine Taylor entered UCF as an unranked recruit despite averages of 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists. After a quiet freshman season, Taylor's minutes increased greatly in his sophomore campaign, and his scoring average followed, increasing to nearly 13 points. Taylor earned his starting spot entering his junior year. As a starter, Taylor averaged 20.8 points and 4.7 rebound, which was good enough for All-Conference USA Second Team honors. Now a senior, Taylor is still an underrated college basketball player despite scoring over 26 points per game. However, his scoring ability and athleticism have not gone under the NBA's radar.
