Player Biography: Hayward came out of Brownsburg, Indiana as an unranked three-star recruit. He committed to Butler over IUPUI and Purdue. As a freshman, Hayward averaged 13.1 points and 6.5 rebounds and was a First Team All-Horizon League selection. Hayward improved his play as a sophomore, averaging 15.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per contest and led Butler to their first Final Four and NCAA championship appearance.
