A native of Nigeria, Solomon Alabi did not start playing basketball until he was 15 and, as a result, has much room to improve in terms of his basketball development. A massive physical talent with ideal height and great length, Alabi has used his size to his advantage offensively, scoring in the post over undersized defenders (11.6 PPG), and defensively, exhibiting natural shot-blocking abilities (2.4 BPG). He is an underwhelming rebounder (6.2 RPG), however, and his awareness must improve. Alabi will be drafted as a project, and the fact that he is considered a hard worker will help as teams decide whether to take a chance on him.
