Player Biography: Toney Douglas attended Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, Georgia. The under-the-radar recruit (#66 Rivals, #85 Scout) signed with Auburn and had an excellent freshman campaign, averaging 16.9 ppg and 5.3 rpg. Douglas transferred to Florida State the following year and sat out the season, due to NCAA rules. Douglas made a good contribution to the Seminoles in the 2006-2007 season, averaging 12.7 points in 28.8 minutes. Douglas earned Third Team All-ACC honors and was also selected to the All-ACC Defensive Team in his junior year, averaging 15.4 points and 2.6 steals. Douglas has had an exceptional senior year at Florida State, averaging over twenty points and four rebounds per game and was a First Team All-ACC selection.
