Player Biography: Meeks was considered a four-star recruit (#39 Rivals; #45 Scout) out of Norcross High School in Norcross, Georgia. Meeks did not play a huge role at Kentucky in his first two seasons, averaging only about 9 points per game. In his junior season, however, Meeks exploded on the radar, averaging 23.7 points per game, including a 54 point performance against Tennessee. Meeks is a great scorer and offensive player. He is small for a shooting guard, though, but Meeks may be able to overcome that disadvantage because he can create open shots for himself.
