Jahmar Young to Test Draft Waters

On Sunday, New Mexico State men's basketball coach Marvin Menzies said he expects junior guard Jahmar Young to declare early entry for the 2010 NBA Draft.

"We have talked about it and it has pretty much been the plan for quite some time that he would test the waters and see how his stock was evaluated," said Menzies, who coached the Aggies to a 22-12 record and a Western Athletic Conference tournament championship this season. "He will get a chance to see what the demand is and we will see how it goes."

Menzies said Young had not officially declared yet.

"He has to submit a letter, which we will probably do this week," Menzies said.
