Adnan Hodzic Enters NBA Draft

Excerpt from The Tennessean:

Lipscomb power forward Adnan Hodzic has declared that he will enter the 2010 NBA Draft.

Hodzic does not intend to hire and agent and therefore he will be eligible to return to Lipscomb next year if he removes his name from the draft at a later date.

“After careful consideration of my options and my desire to play professionally, I have decided to enter my name in this summer’s NBA draft,” Hodzic said. “While I have made great advancements on the court for Lipscomb over the last three years, I know that continual hard work and practice will make me an even better player. Entering my name in the draft allows me to gain valuable feedback from NBA scouts and NBA general managers. I am grateful for my teammates at Lipscomb and I hope this process makes Lipscomb an even better program. ”

Hodzic, a junior from Sarajevo, Bosnia, finished second in the nation in scoring at 22.7 points per contest. He was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Year and was a unanimous selection to the All-Conference First Team. Last week he was named an Honorable Mention All-American by the Associated Press.
