UAB's Millsap Enters Draft

UAB junior guard Elijah Millsap announced Friday his intentions to enter the 2010 NBA Draft, though he will not hire an agent.

Millsap will have until the May 8 deadline to remove his name from consideration should he opt to return for his senior year.

The 6-foot-6 Millsap, brother to NBA and Utah Jazz standout Paul Millsap, earned first team All-Conference USA honors in 2009-10 for leading the league in rebounding at 9.5 per game and finishing fifth in scoring with 16.1 points per contest.

"It's always been my dream since I started playing basketball to have a chance to play in the NBA," Millsap said. "I'm anxious to begin the process and see the type of feedback I get."
