Bost Staying in Draft, Johnson Returning to MSU
Excerpt from the Mississippi Press:
Mississippi State point guard Dee Bost has decided to leave his name in the NBA Draft pool, he said Saturday night.
The 6-foot-2 Bost, who would've been a junior, has started for MSU the past two years. The Concord, N.C., averaged 13.0 points and 5.2 assists per game last season and was a two-year starter.
''I just felt it was just best for me," Bost said. "I feel like I can earn my way in."
Bost said he hasn't yet worked out for any teams but will do so in a few days. He's not yet signed with an agent.
''Basically it's all up to me," he said. "I've gotta do what I've gotta do in the workouts."
Bost's MSU teammate, guard Ravern Johnson, decided Saturday to return to school. He averaged 13.2 points and shot 40.7 percent from 3-point range last season.
