Player Biography: Dwight Hardy is a very good collegiate player, leading St. John's to some big wins, but I do not think his game will translate to the NBA. Due to his size, Hardy needs to improve his point guard skills, With his athleticism and size, Hardy is able to score effectively by attacking the basket, but he would likely struggle against bigger, more athletic defenders in the NBA. He is a good but not great shooter. Defensively, Hardy does a nice job against smaller guards, but if he is forced to play off the ball in the NBA, he would likely be matched up against taller shooting guards, with whom he would struggle. At this point, I think Hardy has a better future overseas.
