Player Biography: A smooth athlete with tremendous length, Tyler Honeycutt has continued to develop into one of the Pac-10's best NBA prospects. At this stage, Honeycutt is mainly a jump-shooter offensively, moving without the ball and working off of screens to get open. While this is effective, he really needs to work on improving as a ball-handler, which would allow him to create in isolation for himself and for his teammates. Defensively, Honeycutt uses his length and athleticism to tally plenty of blocks and steals. He also rebounds well. With that said, Honeycutt's energy level and assertiveness could stand to improve. Overall, Tyler Honeycutt is clearly an NBA talent who will likely be drafted in the first round when he declares for the draft.
