Isaiah Thomas Leaves Washington For NBA

Excerpt from the Seattle Post Intelligencer:

Isaiah Thomas made it clear in a conference call Thursday afternoon that he isn’t just testing the waters.

The junior guard is 100 percent committed to entering the NBA Draft, saying that there are no circumstances under which he would return to the Washington Huskies even though he has yet to hire an agent.

“It is a goodbye,” Thomas said of his initial statement. “Sorry to say, but I feel like this is the right time for me to make this decision and I’m not going t hire an agent as of right now, not until I really feel like I need to. So that’s the answer with that.”

Thomas said he plans to hire an agent eventually, but that there’s “no rush” to do so right now.
