New Mexico State's Gillenwater Declares for NBA Draft

New Mexico State junior forward Troy Gillenwater has declared for the NBA draft. He led the Aggies in both scoring and rebounding with 18.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

“After several lengthy and in-depth conversations between Troy and myself, we have reached the decision to enter Troy’s name into the 2011 NBA draft at this time without signing with an agent,” head coach Marvin Menzies said. “We will assess the situation as it unfolds in the way of interest and opportunity and make a final decision when the time is right regarding his future. We are 100 percent on the same page and in agreement with this decision.”
