Shelvin Mack to Test Waters
Excerpt from ESPN:
Butler junior guard Shelvin Mack, who led the Bulldogs to a second straight NCAA championship game appearance, will declare for the NBA draft but not sign with an agent, coach Brad Stevens said.
According to Stevens, Mack will test the draft process between April 24 and May 8 to see where he would fall in the first round.
The 6-foot-3 shooting guard was the Bulldogs' second-leading scorer last season at 16.0 points and was named Most Outstanding Player in the Southeast Regional. He also led Butler in assists (131), was third in rebounds (4.5) and played in each of the last two national championship games.
