Player Biography: Daye was a five-star high school recruit (#25 Rivals; #57 Scout) out of Woodbridge High School in Irvine, California. Daye got off to a great start at Gonzaga, averaging 10.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in only 18.5 minutes per game. Daye improved his defense as a sophomore, averaging 6.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. With his great length and athleticism, Daye has the potential to be an NBA player. He also shoots well from behind the arch, shooting 43% from three-point land last year. Daye has declared for the draft, but will not hire an agent.
