Player Biography: Jonny Flynn was a top 25 recruit (#22 Rivals; #21 Scout) out of Niagara Falls, New York. In his senior season at Niagara Falls, Flynn averaged 26.7 points, 6.0 assists, and 3.5 steals per game. Flynn decided to play basketball at Syracuse, where he quickly found a place in coach Jim Boeheim's system, averaging 15.7 points and 5.3 assists per game as a freshman. His efforts earned him Big East co-Rookie of the Year honors and a spot on the Big East All-Rookie Team. Flynn has played even better in his sophomore season, averaging nearly 18 points and 7 assists. Flynn was a Second Team All-Big East selection in the 2008-2009 season.
