Player Biography: Tyreke Evans, a product of American Christian School in Aston, Pennsylvania, was a varsity starter beginning in seventh grade and scored over 3,300 total points at American Christian. A highly touted recruit (Rivals #6; Scout #3; ESPN #1 SG), Evans led the team to a 21-6 record during his senior year, averaging 32.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. On April 16, 2008, in a much anticipated move, Evans committed to Memphis. After initial growing pains, Evans filled the void left by a former Tiger and current Bull, Derrick Rose.
