Player Biography: DeJuan Blair entered Pittsburgh as a a mid-level recruit (#59 Rivals; #19 Scout). As a freshman, he did not disappoint, nearly averaging a double-double (11.6 points, 9.1 rebounds). His play earned him Freshman All-America honors as well as an All-Big East Honorable Mention. With his ability to rebound and score in the post, Blair is averaging around sixteen points and over twelve rebounds, improving on his sophomore campaign. Behind Blair and senior Sam Young, Pitt earned the #1 ranking while Blair has turned into a legitimate first round prospect.
