Player Biography: The 7'2" Austrian played American high school basketball as an exchange student at Kell High School in Marietta, Georgia. Nevill was an unrated American recruit out of high school, however his size and his ability (17.6 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 3.7 bpg, 70% FG) attracted Utah. As a freshman, Nevill averaged 11.6 ppg and 6.6 rpg and was selected Honorable Mention all-Mountain West Conference. Nevill continued to improve in his sophomore season, averaging 7.7 rpg and 16.8 ppg on an amazing 74.1% shooting. He was selected to the all-Mountain West Conference third team. The Aussie saw his minutes decrease in his junior season, however, changing from 31.3 mpg to 28.8 mpg, and also saw his scoring decrease to 15.2 ppg and 6.7 rpg. His efforts did earn him all-Mountain West Conference second team honors, though. Now in his senior season, Nevill has seen his minutes return, and has turned his scoring and rebounding around also.
