Player Biography: Perhaps the most physically gifted player in his class, Perry Jones has the tools necessary to be selected first overall in the 2011 NBA Draft. An athletic 6-11 forward, Jones has produced at a fairly high level as a freshman big, averaging nearly 15 points and 7 rebounds. Like many young prospects, Jones has excelled offensively, scoring with impressive efficiency. For a player with his length and athleticism, Jones' defensive game and shot-blocking skills are somewhat disappointing. Similarly, he can be beat on the boards. With his skill set and athleticism, Jones may be better suited at small forward at the next level.
