Kevin Jones Considering the Draft

Excerpt from the American Chronicle:

WVU junior forward Kevin Jones said testing the NBA draft waters is an option.

Jones said there's no timetable for a decision; he plans to take his time.

"I haven't talked to anybody about it," Jones said, after Saturday's season-ending loss. "I will talk to my family and coach (Bob) Huggins and see what's the best decision for me."

Jones talked to an NBA scout after his sophomore season and was told he would be a second-round selection or go undrafted. That wasn't good enough for Jones, who said last summer that he wouldn't consider entering the 2011 draft unless he knew for sure he was going to get selected high.

"I don't want to gamble," Jones told The Dominion Post in July. "I want to make sure whatever I do is a sure thing. If it's not, then I'll come back and work even harder."
